Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Hungary - Q2 2023

In the second quarter of 2023, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in Hungary showcased varying trends in downloads and weekly active users. Here's a closer look at the performance of these apps according to Sensor Tower data.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a consistent increase in downloads, starting from approximately 1.2K in late March and ending at around 1.7K in the final week of June. Weekly active users also exhibited a steady rise, growing from about 4.6K to 5.3K over the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a modest but stable growth in downloads, peaking at about 696 in the last week of June. The app maintained a high level of weekly active users, fluctuating slightly but remaining around the 25K to 27K range throughout the quarter.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus had relatively low download numbers, hovering around 100 to 140 weekly. Weekly active users showed a minor decline, moving from approximately 828 at the start of the quarter to 813 by the end.

Careem – rides, food & more experienced a gradual decrease in both downloads and weekly active users. Downloads fell from about 117 to 86, while active users dropped from around 329 to 278 over the same period.

Cabify showed a stable trend in downloads, staying within the 100 to 126 range. Weekly active users increased steadily, starting from 341 and reaching 396 by the end of June.
